Help us raise scalability and resiliency across the stack—apply now. **Responsibilities** * Guide and manage Python backend services and background jobs, especially with FastAPI * Optimize data processing workflows using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Develop and extend CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions * Run scalable Azure solutions using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Specify infrastructure definitions with Bicep and, where relevant, AWS CDK or Terraform * Advocate for GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to streamline development workflows * Partner across teams to align on scalability goals and performance improvements * Tackle architectural and engineering challenges while following advanced best practices * Supervise monitoring and coordinate resolution of critical issues to sustain system fidelity **Requirements** * Extensive Python experience (5+ years) designing web services and managing background jobs via FastAPI * Proven leadership experience for 1+ years leading delivery in a related capacity * Advanced understanding of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for data workflows * Proficiency implementing medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas in production * Expertise scaling CI/CD workflows through GitHub Actions * Strong experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Extensive background in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Proven ability to apply GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to enhance engineering productivity * English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) for clear and effective communication **Nice to have** * Experience with Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit in orchestration and transformation scenarios * Knowledge of distributed processing approaches, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Proficiency with Snowflake features including streams, tasks, pipes, stored procedures, and time travel use cases * Capability in .NET web development supporting legacy front-end solutions built in .NET Core * Exposure to Angular or Next.js for web development
