At G4S, we are looking for a **Security Officer** to join our team. **Location: Manizales** **Work Mode:** On-site **Contract Type:** Fixed-term **What Are We Looking For?** **Are you a high school graduate (any track) with over 1 year of experience as a security officer/security guard and hold a valid security training certificate?** **This vacancy is for you!** **What Will You Do?** * **Crisis Management and Response:** Serve as the first responder during incidents (theft, fire hazards, medical emergencies), applying advanced security protocols until reinforcements or authorities arrive. * **Risk Analysis and Assessment:** Identify vulnerabilities at the service post (e.g., poor lighting, malfunctioning cameras, unusual visitor patterns) and propose corrective measures to your supervisor. * **Advanced Auditing and Monitoring:** Operate complex CCTV systems, electronic alarm systems, and access control software; detect failures and manage recordings for investigations. * **Preparation of Detailed Reports:** Document incidents thoroughly, including witness statements, chronological timelines, and actions taken, serving as legal evidence or internal investigation support. * **Operational Closure Control:** Supervise high-risk processes such as cash register closing, loading/unloading of high-value goods, or securing critical areas (servers, vaults). * **Training and Guidance (Mentorship):** Guide and supervise inexperienced officers to ensure proper adherence to job standards and procedures. * **Liaison with Authorities:** Act as the primary point of contact with the National Police, fire department, or other emergency agencies during an incident, coordinating access and information sharing. **What Are We Looking For?** * Valid security training certificate * 1–3 years of experience in security, CCTV operation, radio and mobile phone usage, among others. * Excellent attitude and eagerness to learn **We Offer:** Wellness program Growth opportunities Collaborative environment
