Position Summary: A major food company in Pereira is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare and cook food, perform cleaning, organization, and support inventory tasks, with experience handling large quantities. Active participation in inventory control and organization. A prominent food company in the city of Pereira requires a KITCHEN ASSISTANT. Academic high school diploma and/or technical training in culinary arts, with experience handling large quantities of preparations. Main Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food, while ensuring kitchen cleanliness and order. - Prepare mise en place and organize the pantry. - Properly arrange tools, utensils, and work materials. - Wash, peel, turn, and cut vegetables, herbs, and other required foods. - Prepare stocks, salads, and sauces. - Thaw, disinfect, chop, cook, and weigh various ingredients used in food preparation. - Assist with regular inventory counts. - Clean kitchen equipment at closing time. - Distribute food across various required services.
