Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to ensure quality and functional validation of digital products, designing and executing manual and automated tests in agile environments. Collaborative work within development and product teams We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance, functional validation, and supporting the stability of digital products. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and tracking manual and automated tests, ensuring deliveries meet high quality standards in agile environments. Requirements (Mandatory): * Reside in Barranquilla (other cities not applicable). * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. * 3 to 4 years of experience in QA / software testing. * Proficiency and experience with JIRA. * Knowledge and experience in: * Design and execution of test cases, test plans, and traceability matrices. * Functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and UAT testing. * Defect management and documentation: bug reporting, severity/priority assessment, evidence collection. * Test management tools: Jira / Azure DevOps / Trello (or similar). * API testing (Postman/Swagger) and response validation. * Databases: basic SQL queries for validation. * Desirable: experience in test automation (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/Appium) and CI/CD. Soft Skills: * Clear communication, attention to detail, and quality focus. * Organizational skills to work in hybrid mode and meet deadlines. * Collaborative work with development, product, and analytics teams. * Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain test scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria. * Execute tests and certify releases prior to deployment. * Log, track, and validate defect fixes. * Propose QA process improvements (standards, templates, automation practices). * Support continuous product improvement through risk analysis and recommendations. -Requirements- Minimum Education: University Degree / Professional Program 3 years of experience Knowledge: Database, Jira, Oracle Keywords: engineers, ingeniera, ing, engineer, data
