A **manufacturing sector** company requires a **General Accountant** with **3 to 4 years of experience** in the industrial sector. We are looking for a professional with **technical leadership, financial judgment, and attention to detail**, capable of ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and fiscal regulations, as well as the strength of the organization's financial system. **Important Information:** * Degree in **Public Accounting** (valid professional license). * Minimum of **3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector**. * Solid knowledge of **NIIF, taxes, reconciliations, costs, accounting closings, and financial reports**. * Proficiency in **accounting ERP systems** and **intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel**. * Skills in financial planning, data analysis, and team leadership. * **Salary:** between **$3,800,000 and $4,100,000**, depending on experience. * Contract type: Fixed-term for three (03) months, with renewal option. * Work hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. * Work location: Barranquilla. **Main Responsibilities** * Participate in defining **financial goals** and **planning human, technological, and infrastructure resources** for the process. * Establish the **financial structure, accounting policies, and procedures** supporting the management of the company's economic results. * Identify, classify, and record **economic, social, and environmental events**, ensuring their recognition under NIIF standards and internal policies. * Review, consolidate, and validate **accounting records, bank reconciliations, depreciation, amortization, and accounting adjustments**. * Establish and monitor the **accounting closing schedule**, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of **financial statements and management indicators**. * Analyze financial results, assess the reasonableness of figures, and propose **improvement actions and risk mitigation measures**. * Generate **official books** (Journal, Ledger, and Balance) and reports for external entities (DANE, DIAN, District authorities, etc.). * Prepare and file **national and district tax declarations**: Income Tax, VAT, ICA, Withholding Tax, Property Tax, Exogenous Report, among others. * Control and review **inventories**, production consumption, and indirect manufacturing costs (IMC). * Review and approve **electronic invoicing** on the **RADIAN – DIAN** portal, both issued and received. * Manage **policy renewals**, **claims for incidents**, **DIAN authorizations**, numbering, and **digital signatures**.
