This time, we are seeking a **Forestry Professional** to work on sustainable infrastructure and environmental management projects. **Functions and responsibilities of the** **Forestry Professional** **in forest and environmental management** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * Plan, coordinate, and execute restoration, management, and conservation projects in forested areas within infrastructure works. * Supervise the sustainable management of forest resources, ensuring compliance with local and international environmental regulations. * Conduct forest inventories, environmental impact studies, and flora and fauna surveys. * Assist in preparing technical reports on environmental impact, mitigation measures, and compensation proposals. * Coordinate reforestation and revegetation activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. * Provide technical advice on best practices for forest management and biodiversity conservation. * Participate in training and awareness programs on sustainability and environmental management for internal and external teams. * Maintain updated records of documentation, permits, and reports related to environmental and forest management of projects. * Support follow-up, monitoring, and control tasks to ensure compliance with environmental commitments. ### **Requirements to apply for the position of** **Forestry Engineer** **or** **Forest Technologist** * Professional degree in Forestry Engineering, Forest Technician, or related field. * Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in forest management, environmental restoration, and/or sustainable natural resource management. * Up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations, certifications, and standards for sustainable forest management. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, GIS, SIG, and environmental monitoring systems. * Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments. * Additional training or certifications in environmental management or ecosystems will be positively valued. ### **Benefits and professional development at Sacyr for forestry profiles** * Opportunities for personal and professional growth with continuous training, internal and international mobility, volunteering, and wellness programs. * Be part of an innovative, dynamic environment committed to excellence, collaborative intelligence, and comprehensive social responsibility. #### **Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities in the forestry sector** At Sacyr, we value diversity and inclusion.
