Your Role at Baxter: Save and sustain lives through overseeing the end-to-end operation of the Solution Mixing process, ensuring alignment with strategies and goals, compliance with industrial safety, quality, and cost standards, under a framework of continuous improvement, innovation, and appropriate technological development, aligned with organizational objectives. Additionally, ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices, guaranteeing excellent performance of the intravenous and renal solution filling system through preventive maintenance (Technical Responsibility for filling machines, filtration systems, pumping systems). What You’ll Do at Baxter * Guarantee, through planning and execution of solution mixing production activities, timely supply of product to the filling sub-process with the required quality per our standards. * Ensure proper operation of the solution transfer system (tanks, piping, fittings, pumps, filtration system, filling equipment, etc.) through implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Supervise production area activities and ensure adequate resources and planning for their execution; ensure appropriate management and motivation of human resources in accordance with established policies and programs, and in compliance with applicable laws. * Ensure compliance with and trend analysis of quality indicators: FPQ, CPM's Scrap, DPM's, Management QA, solution adjustments and dilutions, among others; ensure compliance with manufacturing variances, expense control, maintenance indicators, and establish plans to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement. * Comply with applicable regulations and standards (GMP/Report 32\) ISO 14000, OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14971, corporate policies, quality manual), and ensure internal compliance according to the scope of the position. * Ensure customer loyalty by guaranteeing product availability and quality, as well as timely response to requests and complaints. * The Solution Mixing Supervisor shall serve as the delegate of the Manufacturing Technical Manager to carry out the following actions: * a. Conduct review of the technical package for solution mixing, which forms part of the batch record for batch approval. * b. Accompany chemical adjustment processes conducted during manufacturing by solution mixing personnel, as requested and authorized by the Quality Control Department. Similarly, ensure signature on all technical packages involving chemical adjustments prior to submission to the Approvals area. * Ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures; guarantee execution of the defined annual plan; and safeguard employee safety per established policies. * EHS RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance with current regulatory requirements regarding health, environment, and safety, and responsibilities defined in CO6001A Annex 21 What You’ll Bring to Baxter: * Experience leading operational staff. * Production experience (minimum 2 years). * Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. * Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality tools: Six Sigma, DMAIC, Lean Manufacturing tools (Desirable). * Spoken, written, and reading English (Desirable). * TPM experience (Desirable). * Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics (Desirable). \#LI\-GR1 Equal Employment Opportunity Baxter is an equal opportunity employer.
