This role facilitates communication, collaboration, and integration between engineering, operations, and security teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate is hands\-on, deeply experienced in modern cloud architectures, and committed to automation, reliability, and continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** * Deploy, manage, and support applications across IaaS and PaaS cloud environments. * Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure\-as\-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, ARM templates), with an emphasis on maintainability and repeatability. * Participate in migration efforts from legacy/monolithic architectures to modular, cloud\-friendly solutions, supporting both IaaS and PaaS models. * Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to enable rapid, reliable delivery of software updates. * Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, including participation in on\-call rotations and incident response as needed. * Champion cloud\-agnostic practices and design solutions that minimize vendor lock\-in and can adapt to multiple cloud providers. * Collaborate with product engineering and QA to ensure deployments are robust, secure, and meet compliance requirements. * Document operational procedures and runbooks to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency. * Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance. * Improve observability through logging, tracing, metrics, alerting, and automated response systems. * Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team\-wide engineering best practices. * And other duties as assigned. **Qualifications \& Requirements** **Technical Skills** * **Experience with public cloud platforms** (Azure preferred) and a strong grasp of cloud concepts (e.g., resource provisioning, networking, security, cost management). * **Proficiency with Infrastructure\-as\-Code** tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, ARM templates) and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). * **Familiarity with CI/CD tools** such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar. * **Understanding of containerization and orchestration** technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalents. * **Solid troubleshooting skills** across Windows and Linux environments. * **Awareness of security and compliance best practices** in cloud and hybrid environments. * **Strong communication and collaboration skills**—able to work effectively with engineering, QA, and operations teams. * **Experience with on\-prem to public cloud migrations.** * **Ability to document and share knowledge** through clear runbooks and process guides. * **Eagerness to learn and adapt** as the team’s cloud and automation practices evolve. **Experience \& Attributes** * Minimum **5–8\+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering** experience. * Experience participating in on\-call rotations and managing incidents. * Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non\-technical stakeholders. * Fluent in English, both written and verbal. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, global environment and drive initiatives from concept to production. **Additional Details** * Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation. * Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
