CorporateDescriptionStr **Experience and Education** * Technician or technologist in Industrial Processes, electromechanical, chemical engineering or related fields. * Minimum of 2 years' experience as a leader in manufacturing plants **Other Knowledge** * SAP * Excel * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. **Main Responsibilities** * Collaborates with the Senior Supervisor and Plant Manager to efficiently prioritize team efforts and ensure quality requirements are met. * Supervises and updates the production schedule to prioritize workload. * Responsible for ensuring employees are familiar with proper procedures for operating machinery to mix or combine chemicals or for color extrusion. * Responsible for ensuring employees understand proper procedures regarding raw material consumption. * Provides leadership and expertise in the use of SAP procedures or processes. * Documents work performed, contributes to maintaining and updating documents, records, manuals, etc. * Completes required documentation at the end of each shift. * Communicates procedural changes or quality issues to the team. * Acts as the primary point of contact for the production area, product line or function, serving as a liaison and providing feedback to supervisors, management, and all support groups regarding operations. * Leads the team in all matters related to safe work practices, cleanliness, and compliance with standards. * Leads and participates in problem-solving activities. * Participates in the training of new employees. * Initiates necessary work orders to keep production lines in good condition and operational. * Reports and reviews information related to overtime hours tracking for the assigned team. * Other assigned tasks. **Physical/Environ.
