A prominent food-sector company is seeking technical personnel with experience in industrial wastewater operation and treatment. Position: Water Plant Operator City: Bogotá Salary: $1,852,000 + Benefits + Overtime Pay Contract Type: Temporary Work Schedule: Full-time Main Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with characterization and discharge parameters and requirements for wastewater. Supervise and monitor the proper operation of treatment plant equipment and facilities. Operate wastewater and drinking water treatment processes. Conduct jar tests and chemical dosing. Monitor physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters according to current regulations. Handle and control chemical supply. Operate water agitation, pumping, and filtration equipment. Support compliance with plant operational conditions. Requirements: Technical degree in water treatment processes or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in food-sector companies. Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment and pretreatment. Basic understanding of wastewater discharge characterization. Work Schedules: Rotating 8-hour shifts: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Two Sundays off per month. Availability to work 12-hour shifts when required.
