We are seeking an exceptional accounting professional to join our team and ensure the company's financial health. Position Objective The General Accountant will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all accounting, tax, and financial activities of Rentainer, ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy of records, and timely delivery of financial information for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities * **General Accounting:** * Supervise and execute the daily recording of financial transactions, ensuring the proper application of accounting principles (IFRS or applicable local standards). * Perform bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable reconciliations, and inventory reconciliations (if applicable). * Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement). * **Tax and Fiscal Compliance:** * Ensure accurate calculation, timely filing, and payment of all federal, state, and municipal taxes (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings, etc.). * Coordinate and respond to external and internal audit requirements, as well as inspections by tax authorities. * **Analysis and Budgeting:** * Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budget. * Generate cost analysis, profitability, and budget variance reports. * **Payroll and Accounts Management:** * Supervise payroll processes and compliance with labor obligations. * Manage and monitor the complete cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Candidate Requirements Education and Experience * University degree in **Public Accounting** (mandatory). * Minimum of **2** years of verifiable experience as a General Accountant or in an accounting supervisory role. Technical Skills * Advanced proficiency in **Excel** (pivot tables, complex formulas). * Expertise in any **Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system**.
