JOB OFFERING: PURCHASING ANALYST Responsibilities: \-Determine and award contracts to suppliers or recommend contract awards for the purchase of equipment, raw materials, services, and goods for resale. \-Review requirements and inventory levels, and define quality and quantity specifications for goods and services to be purchased, costs, delivery dates, and other contractual conditions. \-Purchase materials, goods, services, general and specialized equipment, either for internal use, for future processing, or for resale by wholesale or retail establishments. \-Select merchandise or products best suited to the establishment’s needs. \-Issue tenders, consult with suppliers, and evaluate bids. \-Study market reports, trade publications, and sales promotion materials. \-Establish delivery schedules, closely monitor the procurement process, and maintain contact with customers and suppliers to resolve issues. \-Interview suppliers, request quotations, and negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, agreements, and transportation arrangements in order to assess and select the supplier best meeting established needs and requirements. \-Create purchase orders, process purchases, and monitor order traceability according to procedures. \-Act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers of commodities and other goods, establishing and maintaining contact. \-Handle customer offers and requests according to technical procedures and business regulations. \-Sign agreements or contracts on behalf of clients and ensure their compliance.
