One of our business lines focuses on intelligent measurement of energy consumption and generation, integrating all such data seamlessly into our proprietary application and platform, and adding further value to this information through analysis and processing. **Position:** Ecologist, Environmental or Forestry Engineer, or related field **Location:** Medellín, Antioquia **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term **Work Modality:** Hybrid **Position Objective:** Provide technical and operational support in identifying, assessing, and managing biodiversity impacts in infrastructure projects, with emphasis on critical habitats, fauna, flora, and environmental compensation measures. Support implementation of monitoring programs, management plans, and mitigation measures, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and technical standards. **Responsibilities:** * Assist in developing biodiversity management plans, biotic compensation plans, and impact matrices. * Participate in biotic characterization, including analysis of secondary records, identification of potential species, and assessment of critical habitats. * Support coordination and follow-up of field activities related to wildlife deterrence, biological monitoring, and forest compensation. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in biodiversity, environmental licensing, or flora and fauna management. * Knowledge of Colombian environmental regulations related to biodiversity and compensation measures. * Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS). **Desirable Requirements:** * Prior experience in renewable energy projects. * Knowledge of or experience in Tropical Dry Forest zones. * Experience managing biological databases and habitat modeling tools. * Experience in projects funded by multilateral banks or subject to IFC compliance requirements. **Why Join Us?** * You will work with a diverse, young, and mission-driven team committed to making a global impact. * You will help shape the future of our technology by proposing bold and creative ideas—ideas we will evaluate and implement together as a team. * You will have the opportunity to grow professionally within a rapidly evolving company operating in a highly innovative market. * You will contribute to delivering clean energy and energy efficiency to people everywhere.
