We are looking for a professional to join our Services team, responsible for maintaining our solutions and addressing specific requirements from a client in the Electric Power Distribution sector, as well as participating in new projects leveraging our GIS system—NetWorks—applied to large enterprises (e.g., oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, mining, process plants). We seek candidates who meet the following criteria: * Clear and effective communication. * Strong customer service orientation. * Ability to explain tool capabilities and limitations. * Capacity to work under pressure in projects with critical start dates, scope changes, and multiple stakeholders. * Develop high-availability database solutions; * Develop, implement, and optimize routines using PL/SQL (Oracle), C\#, HTML, JavaScript, and XML; * Review and analyze ongoing business requirements; * Create reports; * Analyze existing SQL queries and suggest new ones to optimize performance; * Create scripts and procedures for data migration and deliver scheduled reports in a timely manner; * Design and implement data transformation and loading processes (ETL); * Serve as a technical resource in Octave’s system support process at the client site, including requirements gathering, developing solutions for various workflow challenges faced by the client, recommending best practices for such solutions, and supporting client resources in system maintenance. * Handle incidents and service requests via Octave’s supported platforms; * Analyze incidents and propose temporary workarounds, followed by definitive solutions minimizing impact on users while adhering to the agreed SLA; * Clearly understand how to conduct both unit and integration testing for delivered artifacts. * Perform advanced queries on the client’s database management system, generate ready-to-use reports within the corresponding Octave solution, and extract diverse reports to fulfill ad-hoc demands—including those originating from regulatory agencies; * Assist in identifying root causes of P1 incidents; * Propose and implement improvements focused on environment stabilization and incident reduction; * Create and update the team’s technical knowledge base; * Maintain up-to-date source code repositories using platforms such as DevOps (GIT) or TFS. * Develop custom components for Octave’s solution systems to address client-specific needs or integration requirements; * Support the pre-sales team by assisting with product demonstrations to clients when required; Strong communication skills to interact with clients—not only on technical topics. * This position is fully remote and full-time. **Education / Qualifications** ------------------------------ **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent; * Project experience. * Experience developing with C\#, PL/SQL (Oracle), JavaScript. * Practical knowledge of RESTful APIs * Knowledge of relational databases (Tuning, Transactions, DUMPs) * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Integration experience; * Experience with Microsoft operating systems. * Requirements analysis experience; * Ability to deliver client training; * Minimum technical English proficiency. **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with client business domains such as Electric Power, Gas, and Telecommunications. As many of these sectors serve public utilities, familiarity with their regulatory environment (State Regulations) is highly beneficial.
