Strengthen commercial relationships and acquire new customers A prominent company in the land cargo transportation sector is looking for a Dispatch Coordinator responsible for managing transportation operations and strengthening commercial relationships with current and potential clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating dispatch processes, ensuring vehicle availability, and guaranteeing compliance with transportation documentation procedures, while also contributing to commercial growth through active client management. Main Responsibilities: Manage vehicle procurement for land cargo transportation operations. Coordinate and monitor merchandise dispatches until final delivery to the client. Prepare and manage transportation documents: manifest, remittance, loading order, and travel advances. Track trip completions and document legalization. Maintain continuous communication with drivers and clients to address operational issues. Conduct visits to existing clients to strengthen commercial relationships. Identify and manage opportunities for new business and client acquisition. Monitor performance indicators related to tons transported and service compliance. It is essential to reside in Pereira and be familiar with the city's industry. Required Profile: Technical, technological, or university education in logistics, transportation, administration, or related fields. Experience in logistics and land cargo transportation. Knowledge of vehicle procurement and negotiation with transporters. Proficiency in transportation documentation: manifests, remittances, loading orders, and advances. Commercial skills for client management and generation of new business opportunities. It is essential to reside in Pereira or have the availability to relocate to this city. Working Conditions: Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 3 months, with possibility of conversion to indefinite term based on performance. Salary: Base salary: $1,989,000 + Variable salary: $813,000 + Connectivity allowance: $249,000 Additional commissions for acquiring new clients.
