Knowledge of hazardous waste and safe material handling We are seeking a Waste Handling Assistant at SODEXO S.A.S., who will support operations at JOSÉ MARÍA CORDOBA AIRPORT. Responsibilities Execute cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection activities in collection centers, temporary waste storage rooms, and other assigned areas, ensuring compliance with client and company standards. Perform waste collection, sorting, weighing, labeling, tagging, handling, and storage, ensuring proper management of both conventional and hazardous waste in accordance with defined procedures. Operate and maintain in optimal condition all equipment, tools, and work implements required for cleaning, washing, and waste control tasks, including hydrocarbon and chemical spill handling. Carry out complementary operational activities and various manual tasks, such as surface cleaning, cargo handling, minor adjustments, and other tasks assigned according to the established schedule. Timely record, report, and submit incidents, weight records, forms, and other required documentation, ensuring traceability of performed activities and compliance with established quality parameters.
