EXPERIENCED TICKETER (Cutting Assistant)

Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive Cutting Assistant for the textile sector, with experience in ticketing and spreading, knowledge of fabrics and production sheets, and excellent interpersonal skills. A textile-sector company requires an experienced ticketer — a Cutting Assistant with at least one year of experience in the ticketing and spreading process, preferably in garment manufacturing, general knowledge of fabrics and production sheets, operation of cutting machinery and equipment, packaging, and basic mathematical knowledge. Proactive individual with an excellent attitude, ability to adapt to change, assertive communication, and strong interpersonal relationships. Responsibilities: Spreading: Spread the fabric required per the cutting order — quantity, shade, code, and grain direction — following technical specifications and recommendations provided by quality control and the fabric warehouse. Ticketing and Packaging: Organize and verify that all required pieces and units are present in the program. Apply tickets to pieces (place the ticket where it does not interfere with seams or subsequent processes). Verify the number of labeled layers against the number of spread layers. Identify and separate pieces requiring additional processing. Perform replacements for fabric defects. Package by size and label accordingly. Deliver the completed order to the next process; record fabric consumption and confirm in the system. Deliver production to distribution centers and other processes (include physical sample if available). Fabric Resting: Rest fabric, measure width, and mark defects. Receive and dispatch purchased fabrics to requested processes. Follow instructions from the fabric warehouse to ensure proper fabric resting. Report any anomalies detected during the fabric resting process to the quality department. Physically return fabrics to the warehouse. Adhere to defined standards for performing assigned process activities. Promptly report any anomalies identified during the process to the supervisor. Carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor in alignment with organizational objectives. Employment Type: Full-time Work Location: On-site employment
