**Position Purpose:** Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to maintenance programs, meeting established quality, timeliness, and safety requirements in order to guarantee the availability and standardization of maintainable equipment. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive mechanical or electrical maintenance on company assets. Receive work orders containing specific tasks and execute the work guided by established procedures and information from existing catalogs and manuals, using appropriate tools, ensuring machines operate at full capacity and providing adequate safety conditions for both operator and machine. * Perform corrective mechanical or electrical maintenance on plant machinery. Respond to corrective maintenance requests according to plant needs and in the order received, or as directed by immediate supervisor's instructions and priorities, restoring normal equipment operation in the shortest possible time. * Document the maintenance process according to established standards. Accurately complete the work order with performed maintenance activities and deliver it to the maintenance planner. Report time spent on tasks, update maintenance software to maintain each machine's service history, and assist in cost calculations. * Perform electrical maintenance tasks in compliance with the electrical risk management procedure. Propose improvements to electrical installations to ensure compliance with the procedure. Adhere to the five golden rules defined in this procedure—derived from RETIE guidelines—stating: "WORK TO BE PERFORMED ON NETWORKS, SUBSTATIONS, OR DE-ENERGIZED EQUIPMENT MUST FOLLOW THESE GOLDEN RULES," contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System. * **Certified Education and Knowledge** * Industrial Electromechanical Technologist * CONTE certification class TE1 and TE3, or Electrician Technologist with CONALTEL certification. **Desired Skills / Attributes and Experience** * Minimum of 4 years of verified experience in similar roles involving maintenance, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment. * Additional studies in machine tools. * Basic knowledge of computer tools, Excel, Word, Outlook, maintenance management systems, electro-pneumatics, and PLC handling. * Proven experience in lubrication, handling, inspection, and operation of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Demonstrate skill and knowledge in welding applications for maintenance; certify knowledge of pneumatics and PLCs. * Results orientation, customer focus, quality focus, communication skills, teamwork, planning and organization, problem-solving, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
