Performance, scalability, and resilience optimization of services **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Develop, implement, and maintain Java-based backend solutions using microservices architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and high availability of the organization's systems. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Reside in Medellín or its surrounding areas. * Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields. * 2–4 years of experience in Java backend development. **Technical Knowledge:** **Mandatory:** Java Spring Boot, microservices, CI/CD, documentation, BUGs. The following backend-focused technical knowledge is highly important to perform this role effectively: * Java: Strong command of the language, as it is fundamental for building server-side logic. * Microservices architecture: Clear understanding of this approach, as it enables the design of scalable, modular, and efficient backend systems. * Spring Boot * Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Data) * Design and consumption of RESTful APIs. * Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) **Desirable:** * NoSQL * Docker * Kubernetes * Version control with Git. * JWT, OAuth2, Spring Security **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Support production applications by resolving failures and implementing improvements. * Develop microservices using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot. * Design and build secure and efficient RESTful APIs. * Implement distributed business logic across microservices architectures. * Integrate services via APIs, message queues, or events. * Manage inter-microservice communication (REST, messaging, events). * Participate in backend architecture design. * Optimize service performance, scalability, and resilience. * Implement unit and integration tests. * Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams. * Document services (Swagger).
