At Andrés Carne de Res Medellín, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our operations and guarantee the quality and safety of our products. Position Profile Education: Technical training in cooking, gastronomy, or related fields Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year in kitchen duties, food handling, mise en place, and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Technical Knowledge: Basic cooking techniques Mise en place and preparation Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe operation of equipment and utensils Knowledge of measurement units, portion weights, and portioning Food storage, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and preservation Completion of operational records (POES, temperatures, cleaning, etc.) Competencies: Organization Attention to detail Working under pressure Responsibility and commitment Teamwork Service-oriented attitude Respectful communication Main Responsibilities: Prepare basic dishes following standard recipes Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout the production process Organize and prepare mise en place Receive and inspect supplies Operate and clean equipment, utensils, and facilities Rotate and label products according to procedures Participate in daily inventory counts Complete mandatory records Ensure flavor, portion size, and presentation of products prior to dispatch Working Conditions: Schedule: Rotating shifts from Sunday to Sunday, with one weekday day off Uniform: Full uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by regulations If you meet the requirements, don’t hesitate to apply! -Requirements- Minimum education: University degree / Technical program 1 year of experience Age: 18 years or older Keywords: helper, assistant, assistant, aux, auxiliary, assistant, helper, aide, culinary, culinary, cook, kitchen, restaurateur
