Support standardization, audits, and training at the plant, as well as identification of improvement opportunities and Lean/Six Sigma projects.

**Purpose and Impact of the Role**
This is a **temporary** position located in **Rionegro, Santander, Colombia**. Please note that Cargill does not provide relocation assistance to the work location.

**Shift/Work Schedule:** Day shift
**Key Responsibilities**
* Implement standardization at the Processing Plant
* Support activities assigned by the Plant Manager and Plant Superintendent
* Conduct 5S audits and training in operational areas
* Support root cause analysis development and action plan closure
* Promote the culture of tracking boards and record results
* Support ideation workshops
* Support baseline development for ideas
* Support recognition management at the plant
* Record ideas appropriately across various platforms
* Support identification, analysis, and documentation of improvement opportunities in operational and administrative processes
* Participate in data collection and analysis for Lean/Six Sigma projects
* Support execution of continuous improvement projects under guidance from the subject matter expert or area leader
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Process Engineering, Agro-industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, or related fields
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms with or without reasonable accommodations
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing or descending stairs, kneeling, squatting, and twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation
* Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Ability to work under diverse indoor and outdoor conditions, including temperatures up to 40°C and as low as 6°C
* Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as Excel and Word
* Experience using a computer
* Availability to complete the internship for one year
