Job Objective: Plan, coordinate, and supervise school meal preparation, ensuring nutritious, safe, and hygienic food for students and staff in accordance with current health regulations. Main Responsibilities: * Design and plan nutritious and balanced menus for students and dining hall beneficiaries. * Ensure menus meet nutritional recommendations. * Lead and supervise food preparation, guaranteeing quality, hygiene, and good taste. * Coordinate and manage kitchen staff. * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Monitor inventories, supplies, and storage. * Maintain cleanliness of areas, equipment, and utensils. * Foster a collaborative work environment and positive workplace atmosphere. * Monitor inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen utensils. * Manage food and available resources efficiently to avoid waste. * Propose strategies to maximize utilization of donations or resources received by the organization. * Maintain records of food consumption, inventories, and dining hall requirements. * Assist in food preparation for special activities, organizational events, or community outreach programs.
