Position Objective: Plan, coordinate, and supervise food preparation for the school, ensuring nutritious, safe, and hygienic meals for students and staff, in accordance with current sanitary regulations. Main Responsibilities: * Design and plan nutritious and balanced menus for students and dining hall beneficiaries * Ensure menus comply with nutritional recommendations * Direct and supervise food preparation, guaranteeing quality, hygiene, and good taste * Coordinate and lead kitchen staff * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) * Control inventories, supplies, and storage * Ensure cleanliness of areas, equipment, and utensils * Foster an environment conducive to teamwork and a positive workplace atmosphere * Monitor inventory of food, supplies, and kitchen utensils * Manage available food and resources appropriately to avoid waste * Propose strategies to maximize utilization of donations or resources received by the organization * Maintain records of food consumption, inventories, and dining hall requirements * Assist in food preparation for special activities, organizational events, or community outreach days Position Type: Full-time
