The QA Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of our digital platforms by designing and executing automated tests throughout the entire development lifecycle. **Responsibilities** Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for web applications, mobile applications, and backend services. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable feedback. Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and business teams to define acceptance criteria and test cases. Analyze test results, prioritize defects, and ensure traceability of requirements. Promote shift\-left testing practices and a quality\-first culture within agile teams. Document quality processes, metrics, and reports to support decision\-making. **Education / Experience / Other Information** * 1\-3 years of experience in QA Automation. * Experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or RestAssured. * Solid knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, Python, or C\#. * Experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL). * Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD pipelines. * Proficiency with Git and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Plus/Desirable * Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated industries. * Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, preferably in hybrid environments with Anthos. * Experience with AWS cloud and testing in hybrid infrastructures (cloud \+ on\-premise). * Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling). * Familiarity with BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.). \#LI\-HYBRID Location(s): Colombia : Bogota : Bogota ScotiaTech is a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
