Culture of continuous improvement and global growth **Location:** Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia **Job ID:** R0122876 **Date Posted:** 2026\-05\-04 **Company Name:** Hitachi Energy Colombia S.A.S. **Profession (Job Category):** Production \& Skilled Trades **Job Schedule:** Full time **Remote:** No **Job Description:** **Job Objective** Prepare and paint transformer enclosures and accessories according to specifications defined in drawings and designs, and follow instructions to meet production schedules. **How You Will Make an Impact / Key Responsibilities** * Review paint specifications to verify and clarify required characteristics in the design and ensure compliance with quality specifications. * Verify material availability to ensure completeness and continuity of the process. * Inspect and calibrate painting equipment to ensure proper operation. * Prepare surfaces to be painted to ensure they are free of impurities and that enclosure painting meets requirements. * Mix paint according to defined technical instructions to ensure required availability and quality. * Apply paint onto fully assembled enclosures and/or accessories to meet production schedules. * Inspect paint application and perform necessary touch-ups and adjustments to ensure quality. * Clean painting equipment to maintain and ensure optimal performance. * Suspend execution of any process or activity when uncertainties arise. * Resolve uncertainties by consulting your immediate supervisor or process supervisor to ensure compliance with technical specifications. **Your Profile / Knowledge, Skills, and Experience** * High school diploma * Minimum 6 months’ experience in industrial paint application, training provided by Hitachi, or certification as an Industrial Painter. * Overhead crane operation; proficiency in measurement tools * Proficiency in painting-related tools (orbital sander, spray gun, airbrush, kettle, airless equipment, shot blasting equipment operation, etc.) * Proficiency in manual tools (hammer, polisher, grinder, oxy-cutting equipment, cold cutter, etc.) * Safety, Integrity, and Quality * Customer- and society-oriented mindset * Innovation. **More About Us** * Work-Life Balance * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Culture of continuous improvement * Global Growth **Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
