Build commercial relationships and negotiate competitive rates. **Job Objective:** Lead and comprehensively manage product trade and route development activities, ensuring operational efficiency, product profitability, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** Lead all product trade activities and route development management. Guide countries in trade management and route development. Ensure proper cargo allocation and booking on scheduled line haul transportation required for hub and operational performance. Guarantee development and implementation of products for diverse customers and cargo types. Lead AFR development, as well as trade and route development plans and budgets, ensuring achievement of productivity targets. Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines, cost controls, customer service standards, and corporate policies. Oversee development and maintenance of databases containing specific information to enable rapid responses to network inquiries. Build, maintain, and strengthen commercial relationships with customers and key network stakeholders. Ensure preparation of carrier performance reports and reviews. Periodically review processes and systems to improve service quality and alignment with the company’s long-term strategy and objectives. Explore alternatives to enhance services and processes, ensuring profitable and competitive products, and negotiate competitive rates. Monitor trends, new solutions, services, and traffic developments. Analyze complex situations, identify opportunities, and implement best practices in route development management. Communicate and influence senior business leaders outside one’s direct area to adopt strategic practices and approaches. Develop strong, trust-based relationships with the Sales department, providing support to the commercial area. **Required Profile:** Proven experience in trade, route development, logistics, or transportation. Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments and countries. Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
