This opportunity is for you! Confa Employment Management and Placement Agency is recruiting for the position of: Merchandiser, on behalf of one of our client companies. Education Level: High school diploma (academic track). Experience: 1 year of experience in similar roles, preferably in construction, hardware, furniture, decoration, or related sectors. Knowledge: Product marketing and display; inventory management; customer service; sales and negotiation techniques; merchandise handling and product replenishment; preparation of sales records and reports; basic office software proficiency. Skills: Active listening; assertive communication; critical thinking; interpersonal relationships; teamwork; persuasion; service orientation; organization and attention to detail. Contract Type: Project-based or task-based contract. Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; two Sundays per fortnight, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Salary: $1,800,000 COP + performance-based bonuses (up to 30% of base salary) + statutory benefits. Responsibilities: - Review establishment requirements and determine quantity and type of merchandise needed. - Manage product display, assortment, and organization at points of sale. - Conduct inventory checks and transfer merchandise from warehouses or storage areas to display zones. - Package sold items and handle required shipping procedures where applicable. - Maintain records of stock levels, transactions, accounts, invoices, sales slips, and other related documents. - Maintain communication between buyers and sellers to facilitate product commercialization. - Advise customers on product features, benefits, uses, and care instructions. - Ensure proper brand presentation and adherence to commercial strategies at points of sale. - Perform duties related to the position. - Requirements: Education: High school diploma / Secondary education 1 year of experience Keywords: merchant, merchandiser, trader, construction, project, build, building
