This opportunity is for you! · Confa Employment Management and Placement Agency is recruiting for one of our client companies the position of: Welding Operator · Educational level: Primary, high school, technical or technological degree (welding or related field training preferred) Experience: 1 year in MIG/MAG and SMAW welding processes, assembly of metal structures, and blueprint interpretation · Knowledge: -MIG/MAG and SMAW welding processes -Electric and oxyacetylene welding -Blueprint interpretation -Use of hand tools and welding equipment -Material preparation (cutting, fitting, and alignment) -Use of measuring instruments (tape measure, square) -Industrial safety standards and use of PPE -Mechanics and metalworking · Skills: -Teamwork -Quality control analysis -Time management · Salary: $2,600,000 to $2,800,000 + statutory benefits Contract type: Indefinite-term contract Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. · Responsibilities: -Perform MIG/MAG and SMAW welding processes on metal structures -Interpret blueprints and prepare materials prior to welding -Assemble components and verify alignment and dimensions -Inspect and correct welding defects -Clean and finish weld joints -Comply with industrial safety standards and PPE usage -Use torches to install and repair lead linings, pipes, floors, and other lead structures. -Manually weld or braze metal parts. -Perform related duties.-Requirements- Minimum education: Primary education 1 year of experience
