JUNIOR ICT SUPPORT ENGINEER City: Pereira Contract: Indefinite term Academic Qualifications: Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Telematics Engineering, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 1 year of specific experience in technical support, technological infrastructure, computer equipment maintenance, and network administration. Required Knowledge: Intermediate-level proficiency in office productivity tools. Technical support and maintenance of computer equipment and peripherals. Basic network and communication device administration. Server and workstation management. Operating system and cybersecurity tool updates. Job Objective: Ensure optimal operation of computer equipment, peripherals, networks, communication devices, and corporate software, thereby contributing to the organization’s operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on computer equipment, peripherals, networks, and communication devices. Manage inventory of equipment, spare parts, and technological devices to ensure availability. Continuously optimize and update servers, workstations, and communication equipment. Verify proper operation of applications, databases, server services, and communication channels. Implement operating system, antivirus, and other cybersecurity tool updates according to established guidelines. Identify and promptly communicate the organization’s technological needs and requirements.
