Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Engineer responsible for the technical, administrative, and operational supervision of CCTV, fiber optic, and network system deployments, ensuring compliance with standards and contractual guidelines. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team at Energizando Ingeniería y Construcción S.A.S. In this position, you will be responsible for the technical, administrative, and operational supervision of CCTV systems, fiber optic infrastructure, and associated networks. You will ensure compliance with project standards, quality, safety, schedules, budgets, and contractual guidelines. Your experience in project management, as well as your ability to work collaboratively and solve problems, will be key to success in this role. You must possess solid knowledge of project management methodologies and be familiar with tools and software used in the construction industry. Additionally, your ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams is essential to ensure smooth and successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Project Technical Supervision and Management Lead and supervise installation, configuration, and commissioning activities for CCTV (IP) systems and optical networks. Validate cable routing paths, splices, ODFs, NAP/CTO points, and associated network nodes. Ensure compliance with designs, drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards (TIA/EIA, ITU-T, RETIE where applicable). Coordinate testing, certification, pre-commissioning, and technical deliverables. CCTV System Design (camera placement, storage calculations, switches, UPS, links). VMS Configuration Personnel and Contractor Management Coordinate and supervise installation crews, technicians, and external personnel. Monitor productivity, task assignments, and daily and weekly schedule adherence. Train team members on procedures, safety, and best practices. Planning, Control, and Budgeting Support budget analysis and preparation, bill of quantities (ACO), material procurement, and consumption control. Identify cost or timeline deviations and implement corrective actions. Perform progress tracking, milestone monitoring, project metrics, and progress report delivery. Documentation and Reporting Generate daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports for third-party oversight (interventoría) and project management. Update drawings, minutes, records, checklists, as-built documentation, and technical logs. Support development of risk matrices, planning documents, and contractual documentation. Coordination with Internal and External Departments Attend meetings with third-party oversight (interventoría), clients, and internal engineering teams. Manage permits, site access, material deliveries, and coordination with other project departments. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (SST) regulations and safe work protocols.
