Support in building and monitoring Excel-based reports A prominent company in the sector is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant for Dosquebradas Requirements Academic Qualifications: Public Accountant with knowledge of national taxes, exogenous reporting, and general account reconciliation. Practical Training: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience performing duties related to this position. Responsibilities 1. Verify and reconcile daily sales point income and expenses. 2. Record minor expenses incurred at sales points and advances disbursed to employees. 3. Manage electronic documents. 4. Analyze and record the company’s operational and administrative expenses. 5. Monitor and control the status of the company’s fixed assets. 6. Build and monitor Excel-based reports to support various control activities within the department: Cash balances Issued electronic invoices Reimbursement control Social security base control in cargo loading/unloading. 7. Create third-party records in the accounting system. 8. Support data entry and/or review processes during potential contingencies in the accounting department, including coverage for staff leave and/or vacations. 9. Reconcile, pay, and record social security contributions and contractor payments. 10. Consolidate and submit electronic payroll. Ensuring submission occurs within the established deadline. 11. Review the company’s bank reconciliations and bank transactions. • Requesting or reviewing bank transactions on the established date and cross-checking them against the accounting system records and supporting documentation. 12. Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, consistent with the nature of the position. 13. Prepare national tax and exogenous reports.
