




Position Summary: We are seeking an Import Assistant to analyze accounting expenses, break down taxes, and review customs documentation. Key Highlights: 1. Detailed analysis of import, export, and transshipment expenses. 2. Review of supporting documents and verification of customs regulations. 3. Proficiency in office software and experience in international trade. Import Assistant Requirements Academic Qualifications Technologist or professional with a background in International Trade, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Import Management, Cost Accounting, or related fields. Practical Experience Minimum of 1 to 2 years performing duties related to international trade and cost accounting, or in administrative roles involving office software proficiency. Core Responsibilities • Conduct detailed analysis of accounting expenses associated with each import, export, transshipment, or other related transaction. • Break down taxes, withholdings, and other tax-related items in the respective documents for each transaction. • Review copies, proformas, and other supporting documents for import and export transactions. • Verify that product labels match the specifications outlined in the DZI requested and received by the customs agency. • Ensure that customs supporting documents are properly completed and comply with customs, tax, and foreign exchange regulations.
