Position Summary: We are seeking a Public Accountant to manage financial operations, prepare financial statements, and ensure tax and accounting compliance in the electric power sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages full financial and accounting operations 2. Prepares and submits financial statements and tax returns 3. Supports financial planning and audits A prominent company in the electric power sector is seeking a Public Accountant to perform the following duties: Record and account for all company financial transactions in the SIIGO software. Prepare and submit monthly and annual financial statements. Perform bank and accounting ledger reconciliations. Record sales invoices, cash receipts, purchases, expenses, and disbursement vouchers. Review and monitor customer receivables and accounts receivable. Prepare and review customer statements and reconcile them with the accounting system. Validate and record commissions for freelance staff and engineers. Calculate, prepare, and file corporate taxes (VAT, ICA, withholding taxes, corporate income tax, among others). Prepare and submit external information reports to the DIAN (National Tax and Customs Directorate). Prepare and submit required tax and accounting reports to regulatory authorities. Prepare the monthly sales report and analyze its performance. Calculate and record payroll, social benefits, and contributions to the social security system. Monitor accounts payable and coordinate payments to suppliers. Prepare and manage the monthly cash flow. Maintain the company’s accounting and tax calendar up to date. Support the company’s financial and budgetary planning. Respond to internal and external audit requests. Maintain organized and confidential accounting documentation. Continuously review customer receivables. Validate and control the commission process for freelance staff and engineers. Execute bank reconciliations. Perform other accounting or financial functions as required by the company. -Requirements- Minimum education: University / Professional Degree 2 years of experience Knowledge: General accounting, Financial statements, Invoices, SIIGO, Financial operations
