Coordination of payroll, accounts receivable, and payments to suppliers A prominent company in the electricity sector is seeking a Public Accountant to perform the following duties: Record and account for all the company’s financial transactions in the SIIGO software. Prepare and submit monthly and annual financial statements. Perform bank and accounting account reconciliations. Record sales invoices, cash receipts, purchases, expenses, and disbursement vouchers. Review and monitor customer accounts receivable. Prepare and review customer statements and reconcile them with the accounting system. Validate and record commissions for freelance staff and engineers. Calculate, prepare, and file corporate taxes (VAT, ICA, withholding tax, corporate income tax, among others). Prepare and submit external information to the DIAN (Colombian Tax Authority). Prepare and submit required tax and accounting reports to regulatory authorities. Prepare the monthly sales report and analyze its performance. Process and record payroll, social benefits, and contributions to the social security system. Monitor accounts payable and coordinate payments to suppliers. Prepare and manage the monthly cash flow statement. Maintain the company’s accounting and tax calendar up to date. Support the company’s financial planning and budgeting. Respond to internal and external audit requests. Maintain organized accounting documentation and ensure its confidentiality. Continuously review customer accounts receivable. Validate and control the commission process for freelance staff and engineers. Execute bank reconciliations.
