Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop, review, and optimize electrical solutions for mining or industrial projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. Technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning *At Aris Mining, we develop mining projects under the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and operational reliability, integrating quality engineering to ensure efficient and safe operations.* ‍ ️‍ ️ We seek an Electrical Engineer with experience in electrical design for mining or industrial projects, who will actively participate in developing, reviewing, and optimizing electrical solutions aligned with current regulations and operational requirements. ### **Responsibilities** * Develop low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical designs for mining projects. * Prepare and review drawings, calculation reports, and technical specifications. * Conduct electrical studies (short-circuit, protection coordination, load flow). * Ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations (RETIE, NTC, IEC). * Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning. * Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, and Operations departments. * Evaluate technical proposals from suppliers and contractors. ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Electrical Engineering**. * Minimum of **3 years** of experience in electrical design for mining, industry, or infrastructure. * Knowledge of power and distribution electrical systems. * Proficiency in interpreting drawings and technical documentation. * Experience in underground or open-pit mining projects is desirable. ### **Technical Skills** * Electrical systems design * Electrical studies * RETIE and technical regulations * AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical * ETAP, DigSilent, or similar tools ### **Interpersonal Skills** * Analytical thinking * Effective communication * Collaborative work * Focus on safety and quality At **Aris Mining**, we foster a **diverse and inclusive** environment where engineering drives responsible and sustainable mining.
