This position is within Cargill's protein and salt business, through which we provide high-quality, healthy food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **Purpose** ------------- The Dispatch Operations Assistant will carry out storage and dispatch activities to optimize resource utilization, minimize costs, and maintain quality standards. We are seeking a professional who will contribute to data management, reporting and analysis, shipping, customer interaction, business partnership, and management of people, resources, budget, and projects. **Key Responsibilities** ---------------------------- * Perform scheduling and dispatch tasks by planning and directing carrier or team activities. * Participate in the development, maintenance, and execution of regulatory compliance procedures. * Perform administrative tasks supporting the shipment execution process, completing tasks using industry-standard procedures. * Plan, manage, and review warehousing and dispatch operations to achieve CEDIS objectives. * Request, collect, and organize documentation and data, performing routine data entry into one or more systems. * Handle moderately complex administrative, technical, or customer service issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. * Other assigned duties. \#LI\-Onsite \#LI\-VG3 **Qualifications** ------------------ * High school diploma or Technical degree in Logistics. * Minimum of two years of related work experience in Storage and Dispatch, CEDIS, Warehouse. * Proficient in Office suite. * Inventory management skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Hold themselves and others accountable to meet commitments. * Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. * Build partnerships and collaborate with others to achieve shared goals. * SAP system proficiency
