This is your opportunity! **Purpose of the Role:** The Customs Advisor performs pre-, concurrent, and post-activities related to preparing import declarations and tariff classification. Additionally, within their knowledge and scope, they conduct cargo inspections with customs authorities, control supporting documents, licenses and registrations, temporary imports, and preparation of value declarations, as well as any other duties assigned by their immediate supervisor—always adhering to established processes and procedures for such activities and ensuring compliance regarding quality, quantity, and timeliness, consistently oriented toward delivering excellent service. **Key Responsibilities:** * Operates the Siglo XXI system * Reviews and ensures that supporting documents for the import declaration are complete and comply with required customs regulations * Conducts prior cargo inspection according to company protocols and standards * Generates advance payment settlements * Handles special instructions for Recognition, Registrations and Licenses, and prepares DIMs per COE * Prepares import declarations in accordance with established procedures and current import modalities * Prepares value declarations * Identifies and manages required certificates and/or permits applicable to the import process * **The profile required for this role is:** At DHL Express Colombia, we seek talent like you. **Join our team!** Technical, Technological or Professional degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
