Job Summary: We are seeking a Security Officer with experience in canine handling, explosives, and narcotics to carry out assigned duties, report anomalies, and ensure the well-being of the canine handler-dog team. Focus on the well-being and performance of the canine handler-dog team **At G4S, we are looking for an experienced Security Officer with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn to join our team!** **Location:** Manizales **Work Mode:** On-site **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract **Are you a high school graduate (any track) with over six months of experience as a Security Officer/Guard and certified in canine handling, explosives, and narcotics? This vacancy is for you!** **What will you do?** Carry out the specific duties assigned to your position. Report any anomalies observed at your post to your supervisor and/or Coordinator. Respond promptly to all incidents reported to you via devices within your assigned area. Hand over your post to the colleague relieving you at shift change, following the official handover log. Feed the canine according to the scheduled times during your shift, as well as administer medications prescribed by the Organization’s veterinarian. Before taking the canine out for duty, verify that it is properly groomed; maintain the canine in clean and optimal condition upon completion of its service shift. Address feedback from the Canine Department Director, supervisor, trainer, or veterinarian regarding individual, team, or canine performance.
