Professional development in operating system support and maintenance A prominent national technology company is currently seeking new talent to strengthen its field-based technical support team serving end customers, with the following requirements: CERTIFIED OR GRADUATED TECHNICIAN OR TECHNOLOGIST (MANDATORY) in systems, equipment maintenance, electronics, or related fields. Minimum TWO YEARS of certified experience providing on-site and remote technical support for computing equipment and peripherals. Experience in equipment migration, preventive and corrective equipment maintenance. Technical support for printers across operating systems and backups; operating system migration; equipment preparation and inventory; knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems; network management; diagnosis and resolution of issues on laptops and desktops; working at heights. Primary responsibilities include field support and hardware diagnostics. Required knowledge includes: Equipment migration; hardware component testing and BIOS reset; connecting devices to domain and configuring network settings (IP and DNS); accurate case documentation and incident reporting; courteous and effective user support. Conditions: Work location: MANIZALES and neighboring municipalities (WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL REQUIRED). 100% on-site work. Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day), plus Saturday availability (not exceeding 44 weekly hours). Contract Type: Project-Based or Service Contract (Obra o Labor). Salary: COP $1,750,905 + COP $38,000 phone allowance + COP $249,095 transportation allowance + operational expenses and travel allowances (as applicable), plus all statutory benefits (bonus payments, severance pay, severance interest, paid vacation).
