Contribution to the safety, efficiency, and profitability of operations. **You're getting closer to touching the sky!** **✈️** We want you to be part of this exciting journey where you can grow and develop alongside a highly skilled and diverse team that will support you in overcoming obstacles and achieving your goals. **Structural Engineer** In this role, you will manage the continued structural airworthiness of the company’s aircraft through administrative management, specialized support, and analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements and manufacturer- or industry-provided technical solutions, thereby contributing to the preservation of structural integrity and ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. Safety, reliability, friendliness, simplicity, and accountability are the core values required to assume these responsibilities: * Develop and manage engineering documents related to technical data issued by manufacturers, aviation authorities, and structural damage reports; analyze information issued by manufacturers or authorities to determine applicability to specific aircraft, required resources, and compliance timelines—thus correcting unsafe conditions, avoiding fines and sanctions against the company, and ensuring structural airworthiness of aircraft. * Manage reported structural damage and repairs on the company’s aircraft by issuing manufacturer inquiries regarding out-of-limit conditions or those not covered in technical documentation, as well as auditing and loading records of damage and structural repair reports into aircraft acceptance and return documentation—to ensure the structural integrity of the company’s aircraft. * Maintain appropriate and continuous communication with aircraft and component manufacturers to address issues related to damage, repairs, failures, emerging technologies, developments, reliability concerns, and contractual matters concerning the company’s aircraft—thereby optimizing aircraft ground time and enhancing fleet reliability. * Provide internal technical engineering support or training on parts identification, interchangeability, repairs, or special processes; develop and implement instructions to guide and promote proper use of the company’s software and correct handling of contractual situations—thus improving the company’s IT resource utilization and ensuring reliable and accurate information. * Implement company requirements for special project development by generating innovative ideas that contribute to process evolution and executing integrated project management for global project execution—to enhance safety and reliability in maintenance work performed under the structural engineering domain. * Continuously improve processes to reduce maintenance costs and optimize aircraft ground time. **Preferred Qualifications for the Position:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering. * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. * Power BI. * AMOS proficiency is desirable. * Familiarity with Airbus and Boeing manuals is desirable. * Documentation analysis skills.
