Microservice design, RESTful APIs, and design patterns. #### **Description** We are seeking a backend software engineer specialized in Java with extensive experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes (focused on Oracle Kubernetes Service \- OKS). The professional will be responsible for developing scalable microservices and ensuring their proper deployment, monitoring, and stability in the cloud. #### **Responsibilities** * Development of robust and efficient business logic in Java. * Configuration of Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps). * Optimization of continuous integration and deployment processes. * Unit and integration testing to ensure code quality. * Resolution of technical incidents in staging and production environments. #### **Required Technical Competencies** * Java: versions 11 or higher (proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security). * Containers and orchestration: proven experience with Kubernetes (OKS/OKE) and Docker. * Architecture: microservice design, RESTful APIs, and design patterns (Hexagonal/Clean). * Databases: SQL handling (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB). * CI/CD: automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. * Messaging: knowledge of RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka. #### **Additional Requirements (Preferred)** * Official Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD) or Cloud certifications (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure). * Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). * Self-management capability and ability to deliver outputs per sprints/histos. **Contract Deliverables** * Source code documented and versioned in the institutional repository. * Technical documentation for developed APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI). * Successful configuration and deployment of modules in the OKS cluster.
