The Role: **Application Security Engineer** Can you think like an attacker while building secure and scalable applications? We are looking for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise in Application Security to join our Application Services team. In this role, you will help embed security across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), working closely with developers, architects, DevSecOps teams, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in identifying risks, improving secure development practices, and ensuring our applications remain resilient against evolving threats.### **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with development teams and Application Services to integrate security best practices into the SDLC. * Conduct application security assessments, including code reviews, vulnerability analysis, and threat modeling. * Support and manage security testing activities such as SAST, DAST, dependency analysis, and coordination of penetration tests. * Identify, prioritize, and support remediation of vulnerabilities in internal and customer-facing applications. * Work alongside DevSecOps and engineering teams to enhance secure CI/CD pipelines and automation processes. * Develop and promote secure coding standards, security awareness initiatives, and developer training. What We Expect From You: * Experience in Application Security, Cybersecurity, or Secure Software Development. * Solid understanding of secure coding principles and common vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10\. * Experience with application security tools, including SAST, DAST, container scanning, and dependency analysis solutions. * Familiarity with modern development environments, APIs, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams. * Proficiency in English ### **Why Join Our Team?** At SoftwareOne, you’ll be part of a global organization that drives growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.
