




At Acema Ingeniería, we are looking for a **Civil/Environmental Engineer in Medellín** **Join our team!** **Requirements:** * More than 1 year of experience in the field. * Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. * Additional training (desirable) in: **Additional Training (Desirable):** * Hydrological/hydraulic modeling (HEC\-HMS, HEC\-RAS, IBER, etc.). * GIS and spatial analysis (ArcGIS, QGIS, HEC\-GeoRAS). * Statistical analysis applied to hydrology. * Management of hydrometeorological data (IDEAM). * Regulatory topics: RAS 2017, NSR\-10, ANLA/IDEAM guidelines. * Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD. **Responsibilities:** * Collect, organize, and validate hydrometeorological, topographic, cartographic, and site-specific data (precipitation, flow rates, water levels) used for modeling. * Conduct hydrological analyses, including review of historical time series, watershed delineation, hydrograph generation, and determination of design flows using modeling software. * Develop 1D/2D hydraulic studies to assess channel and network capacity, define flood elevations, prepare flow profiles, and review hydraulic structures. * Manage and process geospatial information using GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS), generating cross-sections, risk maps, IDF curves, and digital terrain models integrated with modeling tools. * Ensure compliance with current technical regulations (RAS, NSR\-10, IDEAM, ANLA, INVÍAS) and prepare reports, calculation memoranda, and supporting documentation for licensing or reviews. * Support engineering development and participate in technical meetings, reviewing and validating both internal and third-party studies. **We want to meet you!** Send your resume to desarrollo.humano@acemaingenieria.com with the subject line "Civil/Environmental Engineer" Job type: Full-time Job type: Full-time Application question(s): * What is your salary expectation? * Do you have knowledge of hydrological/hydraulic modeling? * How many years of experience do you have in this field?
