




Position Summary: We are seeking a Network Infrastructure and Structured Cabling Engineer for the design, implementation, and supervision of electrical and telecommunications infrastructures. Technical support and report preparation IMPORT SYSTEM is searching for the best Network Infrastructure and Structured Cabling Engineer who meets the following requirements: Resident in NEIVA Academic Qualifications Graduate in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or related programs aligned with the core engineering knowledge base. Valid professional license (MP). Experience Minimum three (3) years of experience, counted from the issuance date of the professional license, in activities related to the design, implementation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure for telecommunications networks and structured cabling systems. Technical Knowledge in: Design of electrical infrastructure for communication systems and data networks. Implementation of structured cabling systems (copper and optical fiber). Applicable technical regulations: TIA/EIA, ANSI, RETIE, RITEL, IEEE, among others. Integration of regulated electrical systems, UPS, electrical panels, and grounding systems. Reading, preparation, and review of electrical and network drawings. Calculation and sizing of electrical loads associated with ICT infrastructure. Technical coordination with civil, architectural, and telecommunications disciplines. Main Responsibilities: Design the electrical and network infrastructure required for structured cabling and telecommunications projects. Prepare calculation memoranda, technical specifications, and construction drawings. Supervise and/or execute the implementation of electrical infrastructure associated with data networks. Verify compliance with technical standards, electrical safety requirements, and sound engineering practices. Support field diagnostic processes, technical evaluations, and information gathering. Coordinate testing, certification, and commissioning of installed infrastructure. Prepare technical progress reports, closure reports, and improvement recommendations. Provide technical support during project execution and during inspection or supervision processes. Competencies: Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
