**Job Profile** We are looking for a responsible, proactive person with a service-oriented vocation who supports preparation, service, and cleaning processes in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in school meal services. **Requirements** **Education:** * High school graduate or person with technical studies, diplomas, or courses in **gastronomy, cooking, baking, or related fields**. **Experience:** * Minimum of **1 year** of experience in institutional food services, preferably in **schools**, as a **steward**, and in kitchen operations. **Knowledge and Skills** * Food handling and **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)**. * Culinary techniques and proper use of ingredients and kitchen equipment. * Teamwork, agility, responsibility, and service orientation. **Main Responsibilities** * Support the chef and head cook in the **preparation, cooking, and service** of snacks, lunches, and institutional events. * Prepare cold and hot foods according to the **menu schedule**. * Clean, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, meats, and other supplies. * Measure and mix ingredients using scales and measuring jugs. * Set up service lines during lunchtime. * Provide **agile, effective, and courteous** service to the educational community. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper condition of equipment, utensils, and work areas. * Carry out established cleaning, disinfection, GMP, and control record procedures. * Monitor appropriate use of raw materials to prevent losses and waste. * Assist with receiving supplies, inventory control, and kitchen utensils. * Comply with the daily kitchen cleaning schedule—including floors, walls, grease traps, hoods, boiler rooms, and other assigned areas. * Participate in activities and meetings convened by the Association. * Support event service both inside and outside the school. * Package, label, and distribute water and juices when required. * Occasionally perform cashier duties; while performing this role, no food handling is permitted. * Perform other duties related to the position. **Working Conditions** * **Schedule:** Monday to Saturday * **Contract Type:** Fixed-term contract * **Salary:** $1\.423\.500 (monthly payment) * **Benefits:** Transportation allowance + all statutory benefits * **Position Type:** Full-time **Application** If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining our team, apply to this job posting.
