**Job Description:** We are looking for a responsible **Kitchen Assistant** to support the preparation and organization of kitchen supplies (**mise en place**), ensuring that all ingredients, utensils, and work areas are ready for daily operations. This person will be key to maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and quality in every preparation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform **mise en place** according to the daily menu: washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food. * Assist in preparing dishes such as pasta, rice, hamburgers, salads, sauces, and lasagna. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation during and after your shift. * Wash utensils, equipment, and surfaces according to hygiene protocols. * Assist with receiving and storing raw materials. * Comply with food safety and hygiene standards. * Collaborate with the kitchen team and follow instructions from the Chef or Head Cook. **Work Schedule:** * Working days: **Monday through Sunday**, from **11:30 a.m. to 9:40 p.m.**, including a 45-minute lunch break and **one weekday day off**. * Availability to work **Sundays and holidays**, with a compensatory day off during the week. **Terms & Conditions:** * Indefinite-term employment contract. * Salary: $2\.000\.000 NET + statutory benefits. * Tips starting after 8 working days and performance evaluation. * Excellent work environment and growth opportunities. **Requirements:** * Minimum 6 months’ experience in kitchens or similar restaurants. * Ability to work well in teams and under pressure. * Preferably residing in the northern sector of Bogotá.
