Job Summary: We are seeking an advanced cybersecurity engineer to administer, support, and operate web application firewalls (WAF), providing tactical insights and technical recommendations. Proactively addressing customer requirements CYBERSECURITY ADVANCED ENGINEER 5 hours ago Description A professional degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields, certified via a copy of the professional degree diploma or graduation certificate. At least five (5) years of experience in cybersecurity and four (4) years of specific experience managing web application firewalls (Imperva, Cloudflare), focused on administration, support, and operation. Proactively addressing customer requirements in accordance with established policies and procedures at mid- and senior-levels. Providing tactical insights regarding improvements to operated controls and delivering technical recommendations in service delivery. Requirements Currently, WAF Imperva control management is handled by the Network Security Engineer. Within service delivery, we have experienced gaps in event diagnostics, as this resource lacks application-level knowledge for review and understanding; resulting in escalations from the customer. As an improvement action, we require adding a specialist to cover management of this control, and in the future, to manage Cloudflare — currently administered by the customer.
