Quotation negotiation to ensure profitability **Job Description** A leading agricultural sector company requires a Purchasing Assistant. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Supplier Management:** Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers, and maintain their records. * **Purchase Order Processing:** Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. * **Inventory Control:** Monitor stock levels, verify goods receipt, and reconcile quantities and quality with the warehouse. * **Quotation and Negotiation:** Request quotations, compare prices and payment terms to secure optimal profitability. * **Administrative Support:** File documentation (invoices, contracts), enter data into the system, and collaborate with the accounting department for supplier payments. Academic Qualification: Technical or Technologist degree Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Saturdays, 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Minimum 1 year of certified experience. Work Location: Carrizal rural area, between the municipalities of Granada and Sibaté.
