Operator - Mining Worksite Operator

Job Summary: Coordinate and execute mining operations, ensuring production, safety, and efficiency at the worksite, and manage relevant records. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination of teams and tasks at the worksite. 2. Ensuring compliance with mining safety and environmental standards. 3. Monitoring production and efficiency for continuous improvement. 1. Worksites Operator: Carry out mining operations at the worksite, ensuring adherence to production plans assigned by the immediate supervisor, the mining engineer, or the operations and safety manager. 2. Task Coordination: Coordinate workers’ and equipment tasks at the worksite, allocating resources and prioritizing activities. 3. Safety and Environment: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at the worksite, reporting any incidents or issues. 4. Production and Efficiency: Monitor worksite production and efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions when blasts fail or cleaning times for the worksite do not meet stipulated schedules. 5. Communication: Communicate with the mining engineer, managers, and departments to coordinate operations and resolve issues. 6. Data Recording: Maintain records of production, safety, and other relevant worksite data, such as explosive consumption, timber usage, and other required information.
