At VELPACK SAS, we have over 20 years of experience manufacturing flexible packaging for the food industry. We are currently seeking a **Quality Manager** to lead our quality and food safety management system, promoting continuous improvement and compliance with applicable sector standards. Responsibilities * Lead the Quality and Food Safety Management System. * Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other requirements applicable to the food packaging industry. * Manage quality indicators and prepare reports for management. * Coordinate internal, customer, and certification body audits. * Administer corrective, preventive, and improvement actions. * Lead the quality, laboratory, and inspection teams. * Address customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis. * Supervise the release of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. * Coordinate training programs related to quality and food safety. * Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, and Commercial departments to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Required Profile * Degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Microbiology, or related fields. * Minimum of **3 years** of experience leading quality processes in manufacturing companies, preferably in packaging. * Preferred experience in flexible packaging, plastics, or food industry companies. * Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001\. * Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and management indicators. * Leadership, analytical ability, attention to detail, and focus on continuous improvement.
