Possibility of equivalence between academic studies and professional experience ### **Company: CORPROGRESO** Honorarium: $ 10\.365\.362 Contract Type: Service Provision Contract Duration: 4 months Location: BOGOTA, Colombia Active Until: August 26, 2026 Professional ID card is mandatory Professional Field / Area of Expertise: Systems Engineering, Telematics, and Related Fields; Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, and Related Fields; Industrial Engineering and Related Fields; Cadastral, Geodetic, Topographic Engineering, or Related Fields Experience Required: 4 Years ### **GENERAL DESCRIPTION** We are seeking candidates with a degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems and Computing, Software Development, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Multimedia, Cadastral and Geodetic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Networks, Electronics, Telematics, Informatics, Teleinformatics, or related disciplines aligned with the contract’s purpose or obligations; holding a postgraduate specialization degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Software and Information Systems, Cadastral Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Analytical Intelligence for Decision-Making, Software for Computer Networks, Systems and Computing, Network and Data Management, Database Management, Data Systematization, Telematic Networks and Services, Teleinformatics, Software Architecture, Free Software, Software Development, Valuation, Data Governance, Statistics, Development Projects, Project Management, Information Projects, Technology Management, IT Management, Geographic Information Systems Implementation, or related disciplines aligned with the contract’s purpose or obligations; and demonstrating forty-eight (48\) months of professional experience. Equivalence: Between academic studies and professional experience. Based on the activities to be performed and the contract’s purpose, the following equivalences may apply: A postgraduate specialization degree may be substituted by: a) Two (2\) years of professional experience, and vice versa, provided the undergraduate degree is duly certified. This experience must be in addition to that required for the respective profile. b) An additional undergraduate degree beyond that required in the respective profile’s requirement, provided such additional education is relevant to the contracted activities. c) Completion and approval of additional undergraduate studies beyond the undergraduate degree required in the respective profile’s requirement and/or trade, provided such additional education is relevant to the contracted activities, plus one (1\) year of professional experience beyond that required for the respective profile. d) A postgraduate master’s degree, provided the undergraduate degree is duly certified.
